Interview Guide -

The interview should be conducted in a comfortable, informal setting.  Start the interview by giving the applicant information regarding company expectations, working conditions, and job functions.

Interview questions should be tailored to the specific job description.

  • Education / Experience

Examples of Behavioral questions - 

  • Describe and define your definition of flexible
  • If you could remove one duty from your current job duties, what would it be?
  • What would you change about management where you currently work?
  • How have you resolved conflict in the past?

During the interview watch for congruent communication.  The applicant's behavior, tone of voice, and body language should match their words.

Be consistent with the questions you ask each applicant for a particular job opening and avoid any discriminatory questions.
